is Ryusei Shido inspired by a real life football player ?

Ryusei Shido from Blue Lock might draw inspiration from the characteristics of Zlatan Ibrahimović

Ryusei burst onto the scene during the kickoff of the Third Selection, making a memorable mark as one of the select few characters to enjoy a grand introduction in the climactic Season 1 finale.

In the Second Selection, Ryusei, leading a formidable four-man squad alongside Team Z's Igarashi Gurimu, triumphed over the esteemed hero striker Rensuke Kunigami. Post-victory, Ryusei strategically chose Reo Mikage as the fifth member, effectively sidelining Rensuke from the Blue Lock roster.

Yoichi, bewildered by Rensuke's unexpected defeat, sought answers from Reo. Ryusei, not one to mince words, scoffed at Rensuke's abilities and took a jab at Yoichi, emphasizing that fair play alone wouldn't cut it in the world of soccer. The blond striker's bold remarks were met with a lightning-quick retaliatory strike, expertly thwarted by the intervention of Hyoma Chigiri.

Despite joining the show later and sporting a modest 111th rank, Ryusei has emerged as one of the most promising talents in the Blue Lock program. His unconventional soccer approach kept him under the radar during the initial two Selections.
Diverging from his fellow strikers, Ryusei is fueled by a relentless pursuit of a perceived completeness, a state he believes can only be realized through the execution of awe-inspiring goals. Moreover, his drive falters when pitted against strikers whom he deems to be beneath his skill level.

Ryusei Shido mirrors the agility and ball-manipulating prowess of Swedish player Zlatan Ibrahimović. Shido's precision, whether on the ground or in the air, empowers him to net goals with unpredictably placed shots and strategic positioning. In Blue Lock, he leverages his acrobatic abilities, presenting spectators with an embellished rendition of Ibrahimović's swift goal-scoring approach.
Shido showcases formidable physical prowess, channeling the dynamic force found in Ibrahimović's powerful shots and precise passes. He seizes every chance to unleash shots from unconventional angles, clinching victories with techniques reminiscent of Ibrahimović's renowned volleys.
